Jimmy Custodio, 41, of Eden, Minn., was sentenced to seven and a half years in federal prison followed by five years of supervised release by U.S. District Chief Judge Jeffrey L. Viken. Custodio was ordered to pay $100 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.

Custodio was one of nine men federally indicted after an undercover sex trafficking sting operation at the 2017 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Custodio was accused of communicating with someone he thought was a minor, attempting to engage in sexual acts and requesting the minor send him pornographic images, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Six of the seven people charged in the stabbing death of a man in Maryland in July have been identified by federal officials as being part of the MS-13 gang and in the country illegally

Custodio pleaded guilty to attempting to receive child pornography in November 2018.
